Will Jonathan Kuminga play again? Warriors reveal playing status vs. Suns

Kuminga reportedly won't play for Golden State this weekend against the Suns due to illness.

After making his comeback to the hardwood last Thursday against the Phoenix Suns, Dubs fans have been wondering if Jonathan Kuminga will finally be in the team's rotation moving forward.

But unfortunately, the forward won't be able to play in the team's regular-season rematch with the Suns in San Francisco.

Kuminga has been listed as unavailable to play as he's been dealing with illness.

From being inactive since Dec. 7 as he obtained a DNP, Kuminga earned the nod from Steve Kerr in the Warriors' 99-98 loss against the Suns. In 10 minutes of play, he only finished with two points in 1-5 shooting and four rebounds.

Despite the awful night from Kuminga, Kerr still felt good about what he saw from the 23-year-old after missing three consecutive games.

Slumping with three straight losses, Golden State (13-15) will look to bounce back against Phoenix (15-12) to return to the win column.
