Draymond Green Ejected: What led to Warriors star's early exit vs Suns?

Draymond Green left prematurely in the Suns-Warriors clash on Saturday after a hard shove on Collin Gillespie and barking against officials.

Draymond Green earned an early exit in the Golden State Warriors' Saturday matchup against the Phoenix Suns.

With less than 11 minutes in the second quarter, Green denied Suns guard Collin Gillespie's shot attempt to the rim. This sequence sparked a back-and-forth discussion between both players as the play proceeded.

In the next possession, Green gave a hard shove toward Gillespie and earned a technical foul. The Warriors star started barking and arguing against the officials, prompting a second technical whistle that sent him out of the game.

Green had to be separated from the referees, as head coach Steve Kerr also drew a technical foul.

Upon his ejection, Green finished the night with just four points and three boards in eight minutes.

This marks the first time that Green got ejected this season. He registered a total of 13 technicals and one ejection in 68 games last 2024-25 regular season.
