Conor Bradley‘s latest injury setback is a concern for Liverpool, with Arne Slot unsure how long the right-back will be out for.
The Conor Bradley injury: A quick look
• Half-time withdrawal: The right-back lasted only 45 minutes against Spurs, picking up a knock just before the interval that forced his substitution.
• Slot’s verdict: Arne Slot has confirmed the club “have to wait” for a full assessment, refusing to use a growing injury list as an excuse for the team’s performance.
• Availability issues: Concerns are mounting over Bradley’s fitness record; the 22-year-old has managed just nine Premier League starts from a possible 17 this season.
• Recurring setbacks: This latest blow follows a pattern of six injuries over the last two-and-a-half seasons, preventing him from finding any sustained rhythm.
The Northern Irishman returned for the Reds after a one-game ban on Saturday night, starting in the 2-1 win away to Tottenham in the Premier League.
Bradley only lasted 45 minutes in north London, however, picking up a knock in a tangle with Djed Spence just before half-time and being replaced by Alexander Isak at the break.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Slot said “we have to wait” and see what the situation is regarding Bradley, hoping for a positive outcome.
But Slot was quick not to blame injuries for another unconvincing Liverpool performance, admitting that they affect every team.
“You could see our bench today as well, but this is not for the first time in the last few weeks and we are picking up points and that’s the main thing,” Slot added.
“We are not the only team that suffers injuries in this period in England because we play so many games.
“This is quite normal, that teams have injuries in this period of time.”
Are Bradley’s injuries becoming a cause for concern?

Bradley’s injury-prone nature has again come to the fore this season, with the 22-year-old only managing nine starts out of a possible 17 in the Premier League.
He cannot seem to find a sustained period where he remains fit and in-form, and while he is still a young player, there have to be concerns.
Per Transfermarkt, Bradley has already picked up six injuries in the previous two-and-a-half seasons prior to this latest setback, not allowing him any kind of rhythm.

The Northern Ireland international has all the tools to mature into a fantastic option for Liverpool, but availability is the most priceless asset for any footballer.
Bradley isn’t offering that enough at the moment, and he needs to become more reliable in that area if he wants to be the Reds’ long-term solution at right-back.
Hopefully, the Spurs injury wasn’t a serious one, and he is available for the visit of bottom-of-the-table Wolves next Saturday, but another layoff wouldn’t be a shock.
