Arsenal are reportedly close to extending Bukayo Saka’s contract at the Emirates for a further six years.
The Gunners are heading into their next game against Everton, hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. Mikel Arteta will be delighted with his side’s recent form, and hopes to go into Christmas, top of the table.

So far this season, Arsenal’s new signings have been excellent, with the likes of Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze really making an impact. However, their longer serving players are also important to helping win the league title.
Bukayo Saka’s current contract is due to expire in June 2027, and the Gunners are in talks to extend the England star’s deal at the club.
Saka “ready to sign” Arsenal contract
According to a fresh transfer update from Team Talk, Saka is “ready to sign” a new contract, and there are only a few minor details left to agree before he signs on the dotted line.
It has been said that Saka is expected to sign a £300,000 per week contract at Arsenal, which would make him the highest-paid player at the club, ahead of the likes of William Saliba and Kai Havertz.
The report also says that Saka’s new deal is expected to be a six-year deal, which would keep him at the Emirates until June 2031, which is fantastic news for Arteta and the Gunners.
So far this season, Saka has made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals, and providing one assist. Arteta doesn’t underestimate the impact that the England international has at the Emirates.
The Arsenal boss was quoted by Now.Arsenal, he said: “He’s been incredible. Because it’s scoring — the hardest thing in football to do — and he continues to do it even when opponents know his strengths.”
