Liverpool were in the midst of a terrible run of form, but appear to be turning a corner, with three wins in a row in all competitions, including a 2-1 victory against Tottenham. [Alexander Isak](https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2025/12/13/liverpool-transfers-robbie-fowler-verdict/) scored only his second Premier League goal since signing from Newcastle in the summer for £125million. Liverpool Fear Alexander Isak Has Broken His Leg

### Isak Struggles Hit by Huge Injury Setback
David Ornstein has revealed that struggling Swedish striker Isak is set for a significant spell on the sidelines from a suspected leg break, which he sustained from a challenge in his team’s 2-1 win.
Liverpool have yet to issue any official confirmation, but Ornstein reports that the scans are set to confirm fears that the striker is set to spend a few months on the sidelines, recovering.
Isak was a half-time replacement for Conor Bradley and quickly made an impact, converting an assist from fellow summer signing Florian Wirtz. A sliding challenge from Micky van de Ven left the striker in pain and unable to celebrate with his teammates. He ultimately left the field and was replaced by Jeremie Frimpong.
