NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Bulls have given inquiring teams an intriguing impression that they are more open about the idea of trading the point guard than they've ever been.

"Doesn't mean they'll actually move him before the Feb. 5 trade deadline, but the Bulls have left the impression with rival teams inquiring about Coby White that they are more open to trading White than they've ever been," Stein wrote.

White's name suddenly appeared on the league's trade chatter when it was recently revealed that the Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed genuine interest in acquiring him.

Given that he is in the final season of a three-year, $36 million contract, the Bulls would certainly entertain the possibility of shipping White away and capitalizing on the interest he is receiving. This past September, he notably informed the franchise that he isn't planning to ink an extension with them.

Entering the Bulls' Sunday contest against the Atlanta Hawks, White is averaging a career-best 21.2 points and 5.2 assists in 11 games. A knockdown shooter, he is unfortunately tallying a career-worst 28.6 percent from the three-point distance this year.
