Sources told Shams Charania of ESPN that Zubac is expected to miss several weeks after suffering from a Grade 2 left ankle sprain.

Meanwhile, NBA insider Chris Haynes reported that Zubac is set to be inactive for three weeks due to the injury.

Zubac sustained his ankle injury in the Clippers' 103-88 win over the LA Lakers this past Saturday. The big man went down during the first quarter and was assisted by teammate Brook Lopez to get up as he subsequently entered the locker room hobbling.

He was announced as unavailable to return, ending the night with five points and two rebounds in 11 minutes.

The veteran center stands as one of the lone bright spots of this brutal 2025-26 season for the Clippers, averaging 16 points and 11.5 rebounds.

Currently in 13th place in the Western Conference, the Clippers (7-21) are slated to face an uphill challenge of saving their season without their starting center. As such, Lopez will likely be in charge of anchoring the team's interior in the wake of Zubac being sidelined.
