Things continue to go poorly for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2025-26 NBA season. They’re currently 13th in the Western Conference standings with a record of 7-21 and now they’ll be without a key contributor for multiple weeks.
Starting center Ivica Zubac is expected to miss several weeks of action due to a Grade 2 ankle sprain that he suffered in a recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Ivica Zubac will be sidelined with ankle sprain
Zubac has started in all 28 of L.A.’s games so far this season and posted averages of 15.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in 32.0 minutes per performance.
Injury issues have plagued the Clippers all season. Bradley Beal is sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a left hip fracture, and Kawhi Leonard missed significant time due to a right foot injury. Derrick Jones Jr. has also been sidelined since mid-November with a knee injury. Now, Zubac can be added to the list.
