A Liverpool man faces court on December 22 for the alleged racially abuse of AFC Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo.
A Liverpool man charged with racially abusing an AFC Bournemouth player during a Premier League match is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (December 22).
Merseyside Police said the alleged incident occurred during a Liverpool FC match at Anfield on Saturday, August 15.
Earlier this month, Mark Mogan, 47, of Templehill Close, Dovecot, was charged with Racially Aggravated Section 5 Public Order against AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo during the fixture.

Mogan was conditionally bailed and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court this afternoon.
In a statement on social media, shared on August 16, Semenyo said: “Last night at Anfield will stay with me forever - not because of one person's words, but because of how the entire football family stood together.”
