The Milwaukee Bucks’ road woes persisted as they fell 103-100 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Milwaukee built a lead of 16 early in the third quarter but stumbled in the second half, managing only 40 points and letting the Timberwolves seize control and complete the comeback.
The Bucks dropped to 3-10 on the road and 11-18 overall. The team’s struggles show no sign of easing as they attempt to regroup without Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Milwaukee’s strength has been the three-point shot, but it abandoned them against Minnesota. Entering the night, the Bucks led the league with a 3-point percentage above 40% (now second at 39.9%). Against the Timberwolves, however, they managed just 13 of 45 attempts, 28.9%, far below their season average.
The combination of high volume and poor efficiency played a major role in the loss. AJ Green went 1-for-8, Gary Trent 2-for-7, and Kevin Porter 3-for-9, while no Buck shot better than 37.5% from deep, including Myles Turner at 3-for-8.

Kevin Porter Jr. has been one of the few positives in an otherwise disappointing season. He posted 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, adding 4 steals and a block. His energy on both ends, particularly in the fourth quarter, kept the Bucks competitive. Still, the season-long issue resurfaced, as turnovers hurt Milwaukee once more. Porter committed 6 of the team’s 16 turnovers, which led to 23 points for the Timberwolves.
Myles Turner typically ranks eighth in fourth quarter minutes, and Doc Rivers often limits the Bucks’ free agent acquisition. But against the Timberwolves, Turner logged all 12 minutes of the final frame. He added 5 points and 2 assists, yet it wasn’t enough to push Milwaukee past the finish line. Turner, the team’s second most-used player, has underwhelmed this season and has yet to justify his contract.

As Milwaukee heads into a challenging road stretch and continues to falter without Antetokounmpo, the talk of a potential trade grows louder, though nothing is confirmed. In the meantime, Doc Rivers faces the task of readying his team to secure victories.
