Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers goes off on reporters when poor 2025-26 road record is…

The Milwaukee Bucks fell to 11-18 on the season with their 103-100 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night. Of course, the Bucks were playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been and will continue to be sidelined with a calf injury.

As fans are well-aware, the trade speculation and rumors surrounding Giannis have been abounding, and each loss seems like it brings more and more rumors about his apparent imminent departure from Milwaukee.

For their part, though, the Bucks have told other NBA teams that they are not interested in trading the two-time MVP. Instead, they are hoping to add talent around Giannis when he is healthy that will, hopefully, salvage their season.

In order to do that, though, they need to ensure they are not in too deep of a hole when Giannis returns. But that is something they seem to be having trouble with.

Milwaukee’s loss to the Minnesota on Sunday night was their third in a row and fifth in their last six games. It also dropped them to 3-10 on the road so far this season.

The last time the Bucks won a road game was on November 10.

Doc got snippy when he was told the Bucks haven’t won a road game since November 10.

“Thanks for being so positive!”

When asked what the Bucks’ need to do to get over the hump on the road, he said:

When head coach Doc Rivers was told of this fact by reporters in his postgame press conference, he made a snarky remark at them: “Thanks for being so positive!”

And when asked what can be done to help his team get better on the road, he went off:

“Score more points than the other team. There’s no key. I’m being smart. Every game is a different game. We’re going to play Indiana— it’s going to be a different game tomorrow than it was today. Couple things you can’t do is turn the ball over on the road. That’s number 1. You gotta rebound. But at the end of the day, we gotta score more points than the other team. That’s as simple as I can make it.”

Obviously, the answer was sarcastic as everyone knows the whole point of the game is to score more points than the other team.

The answer is a clear indication that Rivers is in over his head right now and is feeling the pressure to succeed. If he cannot dig the Bucks out of this hole, there may be a head coaching change in Milwaukee very soon.

And many fans would love to see that happen.
