Chelsea have a player who is now worth more than star man Cole Palmer

Very few in the Premier League can say they are currently worth more than Chelsea star Cole Palmer after the levels he has reached since his move to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been desperately missing Palmer this season due to his ongoing groin injury, leaving him only able to start five league games so far.

His importance to the side is best summed up by the fact he received votes for the FIFPro Player of the Year award, whilst ending up in the best team of 2025.

A positive for Chelsea though as they do not rely on Palmer as much as they used to, with a number of other players stepping up in the final third in his absence.

Estevao Willian is now worth more than Cole Palmer

One of those who frequently gets fans out of their seats at Stamford Bridge is Estevao Willian, with his summer arrival being seen by many as their best signing of the transfer window.

Estevao has already made himself a guarantee for the Brazil squad at the upcoming World Cup, and his rapid rise towards the top is reflected in his current market value.

According to the CIES Football Observatory, the wonderkid’s fair market value is around £105m, the highest of any Chelsea player.

This is even higher than Palmer’s estimated transfer value, which the same source puts down at around £103m.

Chelsea fans waiting to see Palmer and Estevao combination

Despite the excitement about Chelsea’s two most entertaining players, supporters are yet to see the two start a game together.

Estevao was handed his first start for the club after Palmer pulled out during the warm up of Chelsea’s win over West Ham, and since then the two have not been available together.

The upcoming fixture against Aston Villa could be a chance for this run to come to an end, assuming the Brazilian has recovered from his own recent injury woes.
