The ball club announced Monday that the star guard will miss at least two or three weeks as he continues his hamstring injury.

Green first sustained his right hamstring strain during the team's training camp, and ultimately reaggravated it in the Suns' preseason.

The former No. 2 pick went on to miss the first eight games of the regular season. But in just his second game since his return, he re-injured his hamstring, causing him to enter the team's recovery shelf again.

Green hasn't played since Nov. 8, as he is averaging just 15.0 points, 2.0 boards and 2.0 assists. He was acquired by the Suns alongside Dillon Brooks in last offseason's Kevin Durant blockbuster deal with the Houston Rockets.

Despite his key absence, Phoenix remains competitive with a 15-13 record that is good enough to currently fill the No. 7 spot of the West.
