Jimmy Butler hilariously asks NBA fans to not give him All-Star votes

Jimmy Butler is a 6-time NBA All-Star, and he’s made five All-NBA Teams to boot. The Golden State Warriors man has excelled at the highest level and has the achievements to show for it. However, this year, Butler doesn’t want All-Star votes, and his reason for it is quite funny.

Jimmy hasn’t made the All-Star team since 2022. This isn’t too surprising; the league is more talented than ever, and Butler’s counting stats are far from the best. Since he joined the Golden State Warriors, those numbers have dipped even more. And he recently made it clear that he doesn’t want to be an All-Star either.

“Don’t vote for me, guys. Instead somebody create a GoFundMe to send me to Barbados. ❤️❤️❤️. Thanks in advance. GO WARRIORS,” Butler commented on the team’s Instagram post. Nothing says Jimmy like being one of the highest-paid players in the league and wanting a paid-for vacation anyway.

The Warriors have a 15-15 record this season. They have been extremely average, and Jimmy hasn’t been too influential in helping them win. In fact, Butler has been criticized a fair amount. With the way the year has gone, a vacation might be more helpful than Jimmy getting his seventh All-Star nod.
