Arne Slot will be speaking to the media today as Liverpool gears up for its final game of 2025 - although it'll be doing so without Alexander Isak.
The striker has been ruled out for the foreseeable future after undergoing surgery on Monday on the broken leg he sustained against Tottenham on Saturday.
Liverpool has given no timeframe on his recovery, but Isak will certainly face at least a few months out, although it is hoped that he could return before the end of the season.
Nevertheless, it is a big blow for Slot and his team, with the list of absentees piling up as we reach the turn of the year. The Reds could therefore decide to dip back into the transfer market to ease the burden on the squad.
Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi are the two most prominent names being linked with a move to Anfield, with the January window opening in just over a week's time.
