Beckham Black, the No. 20 overall recruit in the national 2027 class, was the top performer at The Grind Session Dallas event this past weekend.

The 6-foot-3 point guard out of Orlando (Fla.) Southeastern Prep, and the younger brother of Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black, matched up with top-five nationally ranked point guard Reese Alston and won the battle.

Black led his team to a 26-point victory, finishing with 31 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds while backing up his composite five-star status.

"I am going to do whatever it takes to make sure my team does not lose," Black said of his performance during the matchup. "I feel like I am the best, and if anybody feels different, I feel like it is my job to show them who the best point guard is."
