Joao Felix’s two spells at Chelsea are seen as upsetting to many, due to the talent he showed on rare occasions at Stamford Bridge.
Felix played a total of 40 games for the club, scoring 11 goals and assisting another two.
Instead of things working out in West London, Felix was part of the summer cull of the first team squad, allowing them to sign the likes of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap to replace him.
The Portugal international played alongside some quality players at Stamford Bridge during his time here, however the majority of those were in his second spell where he left in January to join AC Milan for an unsuccessful loan spell.

In his original time here though, he was part of an underperforming side led by Graham Potter and Frank Lampard, which also boasted Thiago Silva at the back.
The Brazilian is very popular amongst his former teammates, and has left a lasting impression on Felix, who named the veteran defender at the back in the best XI of players he has featured alongside in a TikTok on the Saudi Pro League’s account.
Felix admitted in 2023 he was shocked how good Silva was, with him seeming to defy the laws of ageing by still performing at a top level at 41.
Silva had pushed for Chelsea to resign Felix after his first loan spell at the club, something that would only take place after he would depart the Blues himself.

Chelsea miss trick on Thiago Silva return
It became clear recently that Silva was keen on a return to Europe in order to bolster his chances of representing Brazil at the 2026 World Cup.
Reports stated Silva was open to a Chelsea return, even on a lower salary to fit into the new structure at the club.
Despite John Terry’s ambition for Chelsea to sign Silva, he has now agreed terms over a move to Porto next month.
The experience he brings would have been valuable for young defenders such as Josh Acheampong, with him having a lasting effect on the majority of those he plays alongside.
