Cody Gakpo and Conor Bradley both face late fitness tests to determine if they can be in the Liverpool squad to face Wolves, with Arne Slot providing the latest on injuries.
Gakpo has already missed the last three games with a muscle injury while Bradley was forced off at half-time in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Tottenham with an ankle issue.
But it could be positive news for Liverpool ahead of the visit of Wolves on December 27, with the pair given a “50-50” chance of making the squad.
That is not the case for either Joe Gomez (hamstring) or Wataru Endo (ankle) however, as they are joined by Alexander Isak (broken leg) on the absentee list.
Dominik Szoboszlai (suspension) and Mohamed Salah (AFCON) will also be unavailable at the weekend but Florian Wirtz (cramp) is in contention to start again.
“Conor will be 50-50. He’s not training with us today, not tomorrow,” Slot told reporters on Tuesday.
“So Friday we will see exactly where he is, if he can be in the squad yes or no for the weekend.
“Joe won’t be available. Wata won’t be available. Cody, a bit similar to Conor.”
On Wirtz, who came off at the very end of the game against Tottenham, Slot added: “Another example of a player who has to play a lot.
“He’s adjusting better and better and better to the Premier League, but in an ideal world maybe I could have rested him a little bit more.

“But OK, he will be there for us again on Saturday.”
With doubts over Gakpo and Bradley, as it stands Slot has only 13 senior outfield players available to him including youngsters Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni.
The likelihood is that Wellity Lucky, Calvin Ramsay and Kieran Morrison will again be required to fill out the bench and Slot could turn to further reinforcements from the academy if numbers are short.
Will Jeremie Frimpong start for Liverpool vs. Wolves?

Slot is set to make a number of changes from the 2-1 win at Tottenham, not least with Bradley and Szoboszlai dropping out – with Jeremie Frimpong considered available to start.
“At the weekend he was on a maximum of 30 minutes, because he’s been out for quite long,” Slot said of Frimpong.
“I think he’s able to start this weekend – if I make that decision.
“And sometimes situations changed, so you need to take a bit more risk than you would maybe usually do if everyone was available.
“That’s what I mean with the players that are available having to roll their sleeves up, including our fans, to get the best possible chance of a good outcome in the upcoming two games.
“That’s, for him, the same as the others.”
