Chelsea are said to have made an enquiry into a potential deal for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
That is according to Sky Sports, who are reporting that the Blues are looking into the conditions of a possible deal.
They are one of just several interested clubs, however, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United also keen on the Ghana forward.
Meanwhile, Talksport say Manchester United could sign a midfielder in January, with Conor Gallagher and Ruben Neves among those being targeted for a mid-season move.
They are also said to be interested in Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton and Tyler Adams, but the report claims deals for those would be more likely to happen in the summer.
Elsewhere, the Daily Mail say West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is keen for a reunion with his former winger Adama Traore.
The Fulham wide man is out of contract in the summer so the club could be tempted to cash in on him now, rather than risk losing him for free.
But the Hammers’ main priority is to sign a striker, the Mail say, with Niclas Fullkrug set to join AC Milan in January. Sky Sports say he is travelling to Italy to complete an initial loan deal to the Italian side.
Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Brighton youngster Harry Howell, according to Sky Germany.
But Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has dismissed the report as “rumours” and says he wants to keep Howell at the club.
Sky Germany also say that Newcastle United are continuing negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over a deal to loan out forward William Osula, with an option for the German side to buy the forward.
