Malik Monk is reportedly available for a trade as the Sacramento Kings look to adjust their roster, according to Chris Haynes.

“Malik Monk has fell out of the rotation for the Sacramento Kings. They're going with Keon Ellis as that guard, and sources have informed me that Monk has been made available for a trade,” Haynes said.
“The Kings are looking to get younger and more athletic. Monk plays extremely hard and is a very dynamic player, one of the best sixth men in the league, so he presents a ton of value.”
This season, Monk has played in 24 games, averaging 12.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 43.7% from the field and 41.1% from three.
Sacramento is struggling as a team, currently sitting last in the Western Conference with a 7-22 record.
The logjam in their backcourt and need for athleticism have made Monk a potential trade piece as the Kings explore ways to improve their roster.
