Fabrizio Romano Issues“Here We Go”Prediction That Will Get Liverpool Fans Excited

There is a decent chance that Liverpool will make a signing during the January transfer window, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said that different variables could affect whether the Reds go into the market next month:

“I would keep the door open for Liverpool movements in the January transfer window. We will try to understand the positions. Injuries and recovery time will also help to understand what Liverpool will decide to do.”

“But I think there is a chance we’ll have a Liverpool ‘here we go’ in the January transfer window.”

Who are Liverpool likely to sign?

The primary candidate currently appears to be Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo. Most outlets have Manchester City and Manchester United as favourites for the Ghanaian’s signature, with Chelsea having also made a recent enquiry.

However, there is a feeling that if Arne Slot’s side do step up their interest over the coming days, the player may favour a move to Anfield.

Semenyo’s £65m release clause expires on January 10th, so it won’t be long before we know which club he will end up joining.

Could a move be made for Guehi?

Due to the Reds’ limited options at centre-half, many fans are hoping that the Merseysiders will seek to reinforce their numbers in that position next month.

After failing to secure the signature of Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi on Deadline Day back in September, there are suggestions that the club could go back in for him in January.

However, at the moment, it seems as if the defender may only make the switch when his contract expires in June. Other teams, including Bayern Munich and Barcelona, are also still in the mix for his signature.
