Disney Ad Sales has sold out of inventory for NBA Christmas Day games on ESPN and ABC this year, even as the NFL has laid out three games on Christmas across Netflix and Prime Video. Advertiser revenue is up 18% year-over-year, with overall CPMs up 12% and scatter-market CPMs up 20%. Around two-thirds of returning brands increased their ad investment, and 37 new brands joined the NBA Christmas lineup for 2025. There are 84 total brands advertising during the five games and corresponding shoulder programming from across 40 categories, with new investment coming from companies like Syneos Health, AbbVie, Warner Bros. Discovery and Booking.com. “Inside the NBA” and “NBA Tip-Off” are also sold out for Christmas.
