In a clip from the game, Movistar cameras show the Real Madrid midfielder getting clearly frustrated, and the source of his frustration appeared to be Vinicius Jr.
In the video, it seemed like the Frenchman was reprimanding the forward while Jude Bellingham tried to stop him, saying, “Calm, calm.”
This is after Camavinga was caught saying, “If you don’t move, you’ll lose the ball,” in what appears to be a clear instruction to Vinicius.
Camavinga clarifies Sevilla moment
However, Camavinga has clarified, through social media, that in the viral video, he wasn’t actually talking about Vinicius Jr.
Reacting to a post that had shared the video with the transcript, the Real Madrid midfielder replied, “Leave him alone. I wasn’t talking about him.”

It appears the Real Madrid midfielder wants to make sure he wasn’t criticising Vinicius Jr., who had already gone through a tough time in light of the boos and the whistles received at the Bernabeu.
The incident has also led to question marks over Vinicius’ long-term future at Real Madrid, with the forward reportedly having doubts about his continuity.
A lot may depend on the final negotiations between the two parties, with Real Madrid still being reluctant to meet the forward’s hefty salary and bonus demands.
But as far as Camavinga and the rest of the Real Madrid camp are concerned, they are fully backing the Brazilian international and are ready to support him through this tough period.
