Olympique Lyon have officially confirmed the arrival of Real Madrid starlet Endrick on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old striker leaves the Merengues after having struggled break into Xabi Alonso’s plans in the ongoing campaign.
Real Madrid, too, have announced the deal with an official statement, which reads: “Real Madrid CF and Olympique Lyonnais have agreed to the loan of the player Endrick until the end of this season, June 30, 2026.”
Despite his lack of minutes, Endrick remains very highly rated at Real Madrid, and as such, the club have let him go on loan and not sold him outright, so that he can play regularly, gain valuable experience, and return to the club a better player.
Endrick joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 from Palmeiras, with the club spending a hefty sum on his acquisition.

Minutes were hard to come by under Carlo Ancelotti in his debut season, despite which he managed to score seven goals.
While things were expected to get better for him under Alonso, injury plus Gonzalo Garcia’s emergence complicated matters for him.
He finished the first part of the season with just three appearances in all competitions, totalling 99 minutes and one start.
Now, Endrick will hope to get ample minutes and prove his quality at Lyon for the second half of the season.
The operation is a plain loan deal with no buy clauses included. However, Real Madrid are understood to have inserted a special clause which stipulates that Endrick must play a certain number of matches during his time at Lyon.
