Arsenal have reportedly made an initial enquiry about signing Antoine Semenyo in January.
The 25-year-old Bournemouth winger is widely expected to leave the club during the January transfer window. Several Premier League clubs are keen on his signature.
Sky Sports claimed earlier today that Chelsea have made an approach for Semenyo.
Now, TEAMtalk transfer insider Graeme Bailey reports that Arsenal have also made an initial enquiry over a potential move for the Ghana international.
The Gunners are understood to have spoken to Semenyo’s representatives to gain a clearer understanding of his situation.
However, Manchester City and Manchester United are currently leading the race for the forward’s signature. They have held talks on multiple occasions with Semenyo and his camp.
The Bournemouth attacker has a £65m release clause. It must be activated within the first 10 days of the January transfer window.
