Reaves missed the last three games due to a mild left calf strain, but he is now ready to rejoin the rotation as the Lakers continue a strong start to the season.
His return gives Los Angeles another scoring option in the backcourt and adds playmaking alongside LeBron James and Luka Doncic.
Before the injury, Reaves was playing some of the best basketball of his career. In 21 games this season, he is averaging 27.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
He has also been efficient, shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from three-point range. His ability to score off the dribble, make reads out of the pick and roll, and hit big shots has been key for the Lakers' offense.
The Lakers enter the matchup sitting fourth in the Western Conference with a 19-8 record. Phoenix comes into the game ranked seventh in the West at 15-13.
