Bucks legend Michael Redd thankful to Milwaukee after fellow ex-NBA star’s heartbreaking…

Milwaukee Bucks legend Michael Reddhad a heartfelt message to his former team on Tuesday after seeing a video of ex-Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damon Stoudamire opening up about how he doesn’t really feel that the 1999-2000 Blazers team is all that beloved.

That Portland squad reached the 2000 Western Conference Finals and nearly eliminated the Kobe Bryant and Shaquill O’Neal-led Los Angeles Lakers, as the Blazers squandered a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter of that series’ Game 7.

“This makes me even more grateful for the love I get from Bucks fans in Milwaukee and around the world! Could not imagine a scenario where I felt like Damon says he does. Appreciate you, Bucks fam!” Reddwrote in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Stoudamire’s words clearly had an impact on Redd, who doesn’t feel the same way about Milwaukee, whichselected him in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft.

Redd is a beloved Milwaukee figure

Redd continues to be recognized from time to time by the Bucks and the team’s fans, who will never forget his incredible play during his stint in Milwaukee.

He played 11 of his 12 years in the NBA with the Bucks, putting up career averages of 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 578 games with the team.

Known for his accuracy from behind the arc, Redd shot 38.3 percent from the 3-point region in Cream City before finishing his career in the 2011-12 season with the Phoenix Suns.
