Dillon Brooks doesn't like LeBron James.
The Phoenix Suns forward has made that plenty clear through the years, and that continued on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers and King James.
Except it manifested itself early in the game in a downright stupid play.
With James at the foul line, Brooks chose to enter the lane early and walk in front of James.
When the foul shot missed, the referees correctly ruled it a lane violation. James got to shoot another one.
And for what?

There's just no reason to do this.
Players across basketball do look for little ways to move around during free throws to mess with the opposition.
But Brooks of course knows the rules and knows he was pushing it here.
A potential one point may not matter on most nights, but you never know. Brooks had no reason to do this.
