Ailing from ankle issues, Hayes left prematurely in the Lakers' road loss against the Suns on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Lakers suffered from another injury blow on Tuesday's 132-108 loss against the Phoenix Suns after the untimely exit of Jaxson Hayes.
Hayes sustained a left ankle sprain and only played over five minutes in the game, finishing with just two points and a rebound.
Addressing the media after the loss, JJ Redick revealed that Hayes re-aggravated his ankle sprain, which originally occurred from last week's matchup with the Suns.
Hayes joins the Lakers' injury list that already has Luka Doncic (leg), Rui Hachimura (groin) and Gabe Vincent (back). They couldn't catch a break despite the return of Austin Reaves (calf) and Deandre Ayton (elbow) against the Suns.
Los Angeles hopes that Hayes will still be ready and fully recovered as they aim to bounce back on Christmas Day against the Houston Rockets.
