Chelsea have now learned their Carabao Cup semi final opponents after some late drama last night in what was an entertaining game.
Chelsea fans would have been watching on as Arsenal played against Crystal Palace just two days before Christmas Day.

The game was the only one left to play to decide to final contender in the semi finals of The Carabao Cup, a spot where Chelsea were left waiting to see who they would be playing against. And it was between these two London clubs.
It was always going to be an entertaining game and one that could go either way, and Palace very much fought Arsenal right until the death, taking them through to penalties after a late Marc Guehi goal cancelled out a late what we thought at the time, Arsenal winner.
The game ended 1-1 and it needed a penalty shootout to decide the winner. Arsenal won 7-6 on penalties and now they have setup a semi final game against big London rivals Chelsea.
A mouth-watering tie

Chelsea will play Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-finals. The 1st game at home will be on Wednesday 14th January, and the 2nd leg away on Tuesday 3rd February.
For the neutrals, this is a great tie and to be honest, it’s a great game for the fans of Arsenal and Chelsea as well.
Confident feeling

If it was just one game I’d be feeling even more confident as a Chelsea fan, but perhaps not quite as much over two legs.
But even still, Chelsea have already shown they can go toe-to-toe with Arsenal and they always step it up against the big sides. I fancy our chances here to be honest with you. I do feel pretty confident.
