The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 130-110 on Tuesday, turning a halftime deficit into a rout on their way to their seventh straight win. However, the victory came with something that had not happened since January 10th, 2024: no blocks for Victor Wembanyama.
Wembanyama's streak of consecutive games with a block ended at 101. It was the longest streak in Spurs history, and the third-longest in NBA history behind Patrick Ewing (145) and Dikembe Mutombo (116).

The third-year Frenchman logged 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in 23 minutes of action. Wembanyama has averaged just 21 minutes in six games since his return from a left calf strain, which had forced the superstar to miss 12 games.
The Spurs (22-7, 2nd Western) are off Wednesday before facing the Thunder (26-4, 1st Western) again on Thursday. The Christmas Day clash will be the second consecutive matchup between the two teams, with tipoff scheduled for 2:30 PM ET on ABC and ESPN.
