AC Milan are considering a move for Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus.
The 28-year old Brazilian has recently returned to action after being sidelined for ten months with an ACL injury.
However, although he has since made three substitute appearances – two in the Premier League nd one in the Champions League – he may struggle for first-team minutes once everybody is fit again.
He has also been linked with a return to his native Brazil, with the Palmeiras president recently announcing that he expects Jesus to play for them again.
Any move, though, is not likely to happen until the end of this season. Whilst Mikel Arteta has a large squad, the number of injuries they have suffered over the past two seasons is an indication that strength in depth can be illusory. Jesus could well have a major part to play as Arsenal continue their elusive hunt for silverware.
