With so many first-team players potentially missing for the clash on December 27, Slot could call upon several youngsters to feature in the matchday squad.

How Kieran Morrison can break into Liverpool’s senior team

Morrison made his senior Liverpool debut earlier this season when he was handed a start against Crystal Palace.

The Reds lost the Carabao Cup tie, with the 19-year-old featuring for 67 minutes.

Morrison is an attacking midfielder who is well-versed in featuring off the right wing as well.

While we are yet to see much of him in the first team, the teenager has shone at youth level this term.

Prior to his debut against Palace, Lewis Steele called Morrison ‘simply sensational’ after watching him in action for the U19s.

He wrote: “A lot of criticism for the XI here and whether that’s right or wrong, some well-deserved call-ups for youngsters. Watched Kieran Morrison in U19s last week and he was simply sensational, Keyrol Figueroa on the bench scored a hat-trick for U21s. Big night for them”.

Given the number of attacking absences against Wolves, Morrison could add some depth on the right wing in place of Mohamed Salah and Szoboszlai.
