Chelsea are more likely to part ways with players than bring in any big new names during the upcoming January transfer window.
Enzo Maresca would love to be able to have more options available for him as Chelsea prepare for a hectic few months of fixtures across four different competitions.
There are a number of players out of the first team plans though. There will be efforts to sell Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi across the upcoming month.

The chance at selling Cobham graduates for pure profit has never escaped the notice of Todd Boehly and co, with that being a big boost for their prospects in the transfer window.

Frank Lampard has asked to sign Chelsea’s Tyrique George
They almost secured a sale of Tyrique George to Fulham late in the summer, although a deal fell through and he has remained on the fringes of Maresca’s side.
Now, Simon Phillips has reported that Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has offered the attacker a way out, offering him the chance to join high-flying Championship side Coventry City.
He said: “A lot of interest here including from Crystal Palace and Fulham. George wants to leave in January and his agents are actively working on it, Chelsea will sell for the right fee.
“Frank Lampard has approached George and asked Chelsea about him for a January move to Coventry.”
It is not surprising that George is keen on a move away from the club, after the extortionate business Chelsea have completed in the attacking areas.

While Chelsea are happy to move him on, reports have claimed the Blues would rather sell George to Strasbourg in order to keep him under the BlueCo banner.
There would certainly be worse places to go than Coventry, who are favourites to be promoted to the Premier League after their excellent start to the season.
A deal to the Championship would likely start off as a loan, but the opportunity to become permanent in the Premier League, as well as work under Lampard is definitely a selling point.
