Man charged over stabbing in Liverpool street

A 20-year-old man has been charged after another man was stabbed on a street in Liverpool.

The victim, a man aged in his 50s, suffered an injury to his arm in the attack on Breck Road in Anfield, which happened at about 23:00 GMT on Monday.

Mason Breen, from Buckingham Road in Tuebrook, is accused of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife or bladed article in a public place.

He is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrate's Court later.
