Enzo Maresca reveals two massive injury returns for Chelsea vs. Aston Villa

[Chelsea](https://chelseanews.com/) are coming off a hard fought 2-2 draw with Newcastle United last Premier League weekend, and this weekend, they will go up against an even more difficult opponent in Aston Villa, who just beat Manchester United last weekend and are suddenly title contenders.

Overall, it’s been a difficult season for the Blues, but they are still in the top four of the Premier League. Seven points separate them from third placed Villa, but they could go a long way to closing that gap on Saturday.

And they are getting some big boosts, too. Cole Palmer has been healthy and able to start several games in a row now, so Chelsea will have him out there for a full 90 minutes finally, which is absolutely massive.

In addition, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed at the press conference before the match that two other key attackers, right winger Estevao Willian and striker Liam Delap, will be back and fit for the match this weekend vs. Aston Villa.

Delap is the only out and out No. 9 in the squad, so his return will be huge. He has been out since the beginning of the month with a shoulder injury, having already missed a couple of months of action earlier this season with a hamstring issue.

Meanwhile, Estevao is an even more important new, young addition to the Chelsea attack and arguably already the Blues second best player overall behind Palmer, a Ballon d’Or hopeful.

Estevao changes games with his athleticism, dribbling ability, creativity, and ball striking. The Brazilian phenom has been out for a couple of games with a muscular issue, and Chelsea have felt the impact of his loss from a creative perspective.
