Nottingham Forest will be bracing themselves for some offers for their star players in the January transfer window.
With the club languishing towards the foot of the Premier League table, plenty will be looking at heading to bigger clubs in the future.
Elliot Anderson has been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool in recent months, with Forest valuing the youngster in the region of £100 million.
Another player who is likely to be on several shortlists around the globe with top European clubs is Murillo, and now he’s being eyed by one of the best in the business.

Murillo being eyed by Barcelona
The defender looks almost certain to leave Forest during the summer of 2026 and now Barcelona have made contact with the player’s entourage, according to Diario Sport.
Murillo has been a revelation since signing for Forest in a deal worth £10.6 million from Corinthians in the summer of 2023, when Steve Cooper was still in charge.
The Brazilian took a few months to become a first-team regular, but once he was handed his debut, he never looked back and has been a mainstay ever since.
Murillo carries the ball out from the back tremendously well and last season, he was a big part of the squad that secured European football for the first time in 30 years.

Barcelona sporting director Deco has already tried to sign Murillo once and now it would appear that he’s been earmarked for a move to the Catalan giants in the summer.
Forest need Murillo to stay fit
Forest have struggled this season when Murillo hasn’t been fit enough to play and ultimately, it’s become evident just how important he is to the team.
With that in mind, Forest can’t afford to let Murillo leave during the January transfer window with the club’s Premier League status still up in the air.
Murillo does deserve a move away from the club, however, and with Anderson and Murillo set to leave in the same window, Forest will definitely recoup a significant amount of profit on two star players.
Barcelona would be a superb move for Murillo and it remains to be seen whether or not he chooses to head to Spain or take up an English club on one of their offers.
