As 2025 comes to an end, few players can say they have had as good of a year on an individual level than Moises Caicedo at Chelsea.
As well as playing a crucial part in winning two trophies for the Blues this season, Caicedo is now seen as one of the best midfielders in world football.
Caicedo and Declan Rice are frequently compared as the best operators in the Premier League, and Chelsea fans’ support of the Ecuadorian likely stems from the real admiration he has for the club.

Moises Caicedo picks Willian as a better player than Roberto Firmino
Blues supporters will be even more keen on him when he was asked to compare South American Premier League players, and the topic of Willian came up.
When asked who was better out of the former Chelsea man and ex-Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, Caicedo selected Willian.
He also named the Brazilian ahead of Alexis Sanchez and former Manchester City star Fernandinho, while speaking to the Premier League LA TikTok channel.
Blues fans enjoyed Willian at Stamford Bridge between 2013 and 2020, featuring 339 times in all competitions over a trophy-ridden career.

Willian has already sent warning to Estevao
Despite spells at Arsenal and Fulham after leaving Chelsea, it is the blue side of London where the Brazilian still has the most affection.
He will have taken particular note of Estevao Willian, with the youngster set to play a crucial role for both club and country in the coming years.
Willian has already warned Estevao to dedicate himself completely upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge in order to maximise the immense amount of potential he has.
It looks as if the youngster has followed this advice, and is ready to be a regular in the side whenever he is entrusted with the responsibility by Enzo Maresca.
