Chelsea head coach Sonia Bompastor has written an open letter to all Blues fans on Christmas Day...
_I believe Christmas is a time for magic and for dreaming._
_Growing up in my family, with all the lights and good meals you have at this time of year, created many good memories – and for children, the magic of Christmas is something unbelievable._
_I am lucky to be able to share this time with my kids. Family is so important to me and it is such an exciting time for them. Being in London also makes it so special as it is one of the best cities in the world, especially around Christmas._
_There was an evening recently that I was out cycling in the city with one of my children and it was so nice to see the happiness on her face as she looked at all the lights. It was a reminder to me of one of the best things in the world: to have dreams._
_At home, we each have an Advent calendar and we really loved decorating the tree together. We have actually had it up since the middle of November, which I think shows how much we enjoy this time of year!_
_I spend a lot of time with family and loved ones over Christmas. I know I am lucky to be able to do this. Not everyone has people to spend Christmas with and it is something the club and the Foundation have looked to help with this year. This is something important._
_My wish is for everyone to have good health in the year ahead and, for the Chelsea supporters, I wish you and your families the best Christmas possible._
_I hope you can come to many of our games in 2026, and I'm hoping for us to have another successful season to celebrate with you._
_This is a magical moment in the season. I want you to enjoy it, to be around your loved ones, and then be back with us in January!_
_Merry Christmas,_
_Sonia_
