Liverpool want to sign PSG star after Antoine Semenyo snub

Liverpool are weighing up an ambitious move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after failing to land Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo.

The Reds recently contacted the Cherries regarding Semenyo after they were made aware of the £65 million release clause in his current contract.

However, they are now unlikely to land his signature. Semenyo has made the decision to join Manchester City and a deal could be signed on January 1.

Arne Slot's side are now looking at alternatives and Caught Offside claim that they could make a serious approach to land Barcola from Les Parisiens.

The 23-year-old has yet to commit to a new long-term deal with a pay rise and he is contemplating his future, having been in and out of the starting XI.

A move to the Premier League could tempt him, but it remains to be seen whether the Reds can persuade Les Parisiens to sanction a mid-season transfer.

Barcola could be assured a regular role on either wing if he were to join the Reds. It could take a package of around £80 million to prise him away from PSG.
