Pop star Cheryl once revealed the thing most important to her, and it involved intimate time with a Premier League legend.
Ashley Cole, who celebrated his 45th birthday on Saturday, was best known in the football world for his time at Arsenal and Chelsea - controversially ditching Arsene Wenger's Invincibles to join Jose Mourinho's Blues where he became a Champions League winner - but he was also renowned as a celebrity during his relationship with Cheryl.
Cheryl and Ashley tied the knot in July 2006 in Berkshire after meeting in 2004. The England defender and Girls Aloud singer's lavish ceremony had a horse-drawn carriage and a luxury designer dress by top Italian designer Roberto Cavalli.

But Cheryl revealed that the money didn’t make her happy; instead it was spending time with Cole in bed that meant the most to her.
The former Girls Aloud babe said that sex with her ex-husband was the most important thing in her life. She said during their relationship: “Sex with Ashley is more important to me than all the money in the world.
“Sex makes me happy, money doesn’t. And Ashley makes me feel sexy, he’s fantastic.”

Cheryl added: “We tackle each other in the bedroom and he loves me massaging his feet. I think more men prefer to hear little breaths rather than big loud screams. Otherwise you sound like a porn film.”
However, the fun times didn’t last as the couple divorced four years later in September 2010 after it was alleged that the England legend had cheated on the Geordie sweetheart.
The two almost separated two years earlier after similar allegations against Cole. Cole disputed the accusations he was a love rat in 2008 but the couple eventually split when new allegations of adultery emerged.

At the time of their divorce, a close friend of the couple told the Daily Star: “Cheryl thinks it is sad the way things have turned out, but life goes on.
"Like any woman in this situation, she will be relieved when it is all over but is bound to have some mixed feelings.

“But she feels she has divorced with dignity. And she has so much to look forward to.”
