Jokic finished the game with 56 points (15/21 FG, 4/6 3PT), 16 rebounds, and 15 assists, leading his team to an impressive win.
18 of his 56 points came in overtime, which the Nuggets won 27-23. With this performance, he broke Stephen Curry's record for most points in overtime in NBA history, which was set in 2016 with 17 points.
Jokic also became the first player in history to record a 55 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists on Christmas day.
In total, three more players besides Jokic scored over 30 points in this game. Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards led the way for his team with 44 points (14/25 FG) and 6 rebounds.
Julius Randle also finished with 32 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for Minnesota, while Denver's Jamal Murray dropped an impressive 35-point, 10-assist double-double, making 9 threes out of 18 attempts.
With this win, the Nuggets improved to 3-0 against the Timberwolves this season and are sitting third in the Western Conference with a 22-8 record.
