Two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas says he is considering a move to the EuroLeague.
In recent seasons, we've seen an influx of high-profile NBA names joining EuroLeague clubs, and we might be getting another one soon.
Two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas sparked the idea of potentially making a move to the EuroLeague, as he hinted at it on social media, saying he is thinking about it.
"Thinking about slidin to the EuroLeague…. I just want to hoop," the former Celtics guard posted on X.
He instantly gained support from former EuroLeague star and NBA guard Malcolm Delaney, who replied to his post, raving about the atmospheres he could experience in the EuroLeague.
"S*it fun bro… best basketball atmospheres in the world," Delaney wrote.
Thomas last appeared in the NBA during the 2023–24 season with the Phoenix Suns and has spent the past two seasons maintaining his conditioning and keeping in touch with teams that might need a veteran guard.
Selected 60th overall in the 2011 draft by the Sacramento Kings, Thomas went from a late second-round pick to a two-time All-Star.
His peak came with the Boston Celtics in 2016–17, when he averaged 28.9 points, 5.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from three.
