Premier League leaders Arsenal will hope to maintain or extend their lead at the top when they host Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners currently sit two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, but they have won just four of their last seven matches in the competition.
The Seagulls will likely provide a stern test for Mikel Arteta’s side, but the Spaniard will expect to pick up all three points and move a step closer to the title.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Arsenal are eyeing a possible move for a Serie A full-back.
According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners are considering a move for AC Milan’s Davide Bartesaghi, 19.
The report claims that the north London outfit are joined by Premier League title rivals Manchester City and Spanish giants Real Madrid in admiring the teenager.

Left-back Bartesaghi is a product of Milan’s youth system and has now made 28 appearances for the club at senior level.
He has been particularly impressive this season, scoring twice and providing one assist in 13 appearances.
Arsenal are said to be on the lookout for a new left-back, with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown another player admired by Arteta as he looks to bolster his squad during the mid-season window.
Milan are said to value Bartesaghi at around £40 million, though, and the report suggests that a move during the January window is therefore unlikely.
Bartesaghi’s current contract with Serie A giants Milan is set to run until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, which puts the Italian outfit in a commanding position.
Milan are likely to be reluctant to lose the teenager, and it remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal, Man City, or Real Madrid would be willing to meet their valuation of the player.
