Arsenal youngster Marli Salmon received a late callup to the bench for the Premier League game at home to Brighton today.
The defender was drafted into the matchday squad after Riccardo Calafiori suffered an injury during the warm up.
Myles Lewis-Skelly came into the starting lineup in place of Calafiori, with Salmon named amongst the substitutes.
16-year-old Salmon has been on the cusp of the first-team squad recently having made his senior debut against Club Brugge before being named on the bench against Aston Villa in the Premier League and Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
