Liverpool continued their unbeaten streak with a hard-fought victory over bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Florian Wirtz's first for the Reds were enough to secure the win, despite Santiago Bueno pulling one back for the visitors after the break.

The result means Arne Slot's team have now secured three consecutive league victories for the first time since the start of the season, and remain unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions. Daily Star Sport assess the performance of the Liverpool players.

Alisson Beck er, 7 - Made a solid save from Mane and watched as Liverpool dominated possession, unfortunate that his save from Arokodare fell straight to Santiago Bueno to score. Kept his composure as Wolves launched late attacks, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Jeremie Frimpong, 7 - Came to Van Dijk's rescue early on and provided speed from deep down the right, notably when setting up the opening goal. Moved to right wing for the final 30 minutes. Impressive performance.

Ibrahima Konate, 6 - Continued his proactive defending and read Wolves' rare attacks well in the first half. However, he was beaten by Arokodare in the build-up to Wolves' goal.

Virgil van Dijk, 6 - Survived a poor pass in the first half and otherwise saw plenty of the ball. The second half proved more challenging as Wolves pressed.

Milos Kerkez, 7 - Provided an option down the left and worked tirelessly in both directions. His first-half shot went wide, but his determination and tackles energised the crowd in the second half.

Ryan Gravenberch, 7 - Had a shaky start dealing with the bouncing ball but soon found his footing, probing the Wolves defence and scoring the opening goal.

Curtis Jones, 6 - His passing was off in the first half but improved after the break. He put in a lot of hard work in the defensive midfield area.

Federico Chiesa, 5 - Caught Arokodare with a flailing arm and despite being involved in the first goal, he struggled to make an impact on the right flank. He was substituted.

Alexis Mac Allister, 6 - Misjudged one Wirtz pass inside the area and seemed a bit slow in the first half but improved later on, even driving one shot wide.

Florian Wirtz, 8 - Created a chance for Ekitike and looked dangerous when in possession. His excellent run and finish resulted in his first Liverpool goal. Another impressive performance. He was substituted.

Hugo Ekitike, 6 - Unlucky to hit the post with one shot but did superb work in keeping the ball and setting up Wirtz for the second goal. However, he noticeably tired in the second half and was substituted.

Subs:

Conor Bradley (for Chiesa 62), 7 - Brought plenty of energy down the right and made a superb tackle to deny Arias.
