Liverpool secured three points from their Premier League clash with Wolves, though it wasn’t a great showing from the home outfit.
The Reds dominated possession from the off but struggled to break down the away side until late in the first half.
A restless Anfield crowd was spurred on by a brilliant run into the box from Jeremie Frimpong, who set up Ryan Gravenberch for the opener.

Florian Wirtz unhappy with the ending of Liverpool vs Wolves
The Reds, who would have guessed it, conceded another set piece to put unnecessary pressure on themselves.
What followed was a drab, worrying end to the match, in which Wolves could well have scored an equaliser to secure a rare point on the road.

Liverpool did hold out for the win, but speaking post-match, Wirtz admitted that how Liverpool are ending matches this season needs to change.
As per BBC Sport, he said: “We played a brilliant first half. We lost the game and got it back. Everyone was working hard. In the last 20 minutes, we made it a bit difficult. I cannot explain why. We have to change that.
“That’s how we want to do it. We want to be there and be on top of the table. It’s not been an easy start for us but we’re doing better and getting the points.”

Florian Wirtz reacts to his first Liverpool goal
While it wasn’t the best outing from Liverpool, it was another game unbeaten and a first goal for Wirtz.
The 22-year-old failed to find the back of the net in his first 22 appearances for his new club in all competitions, and has admitted post-Wolves that he wanted to score sooner.
He said: “It was very nice the feeling on the pitch with the fans around. I was very happy and I still am.
“I was confident that I would score one day. I wanted to start earlier scoring and assisting but it was like this and I have to accept it.
“I just know that it will come and I try to keep going like that.”
