Isak is out for a few months after undergoing surgery on an injury picked up in a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
In his absence, Federico Chiesa started against Wolves on Saturday but did little of note.

Florian Wirtz stats vs Wolves
Wirtz came under fire after a difficult start to life in England, but the German media defended him.
Meanwhile, Slot recently claimed that the Liverpool ace is improving all the time, saying post-Brighton: “I think he [Wirtz] is also one of the players I mean when I say he is getting better and better. He was already very good when we signed him but he’s getting better and better.
“He’s getting stronger and stronger, running people off the ball, all the hard work the players have put in in the last few months is paying off more and more if you look at individual performances.”
It turns out the Liverpool boss was right about one thing, at least, with Wirtz now improving on a previously good display by adding a rare goal contribution to his game.
