According to James L. Edwards of The Athletic, the Knicks wing will miss the team's next three-game road trip as he'll recover from a sprained right ankle.
The Knicks will drop an update once they arrive home.
Hart sustained his injury on the Knicks' 126-124 Christmas Day win, in which he inadvertently stepped on the foot of Dean Wade during a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter.
He was fouled from the play, drained both of his two free throws and didn't return to the game, finishing Thursday's game with 15 points, five boards and three dimes in 26 minutes.
After struggling earlier this season, Hart redeemed himself for the Knicks. He is currently averaging 12.3 points, 8.0 boards and 5.1 assists in 28 games (14 starts).
Without Hart, New York (21-9) will face Atlanta, New Orleans and San Antonio in their three-game road stretch. Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek are expected to receive additional minutes with the forward inactive to play.
