Jones has been out since mid-November after suffering from a sprained MCL in his right knee.
Derrick Jones Jr. is slated to be back and ready to play again for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Sources told ESPN's Shams Charania that Jones Jr. will make his return to the Clippers' lineup on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.
As noted by Charania, Jones has been out since mid-November due to his right knee injury. He has missed the last 14 games of the Clippers' current 2025-26 season.
Jones Jr. is averaging a career-high 10.5 points and 1.2 blocks this year, shooting an efficient 53.3 percent from the field in 13 games. He is mainly tasked with guarding the opposing team's top offensive players.
Jones Jr.'s return couldn't be more important in the Clippers' ongoing goal to climb up the standings, as the team won its last three games.
